Purpose of the role: The role of the Staff Nurse in Critical Care is to manage the care of the patients and the needs of their families, ensuring that quality is maintained. You are required to develop clinical skills specific to the area of Critical Care nursing and work as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver high standards of care.
